Download wordpress:

To design site in wordpress, we need to remain the wordpress application in our pc. We have to go to >> http://wordpress org/download << link to download the wordpress application. If we go to this link, we can see the last updated version’s download link. After click the download icon, our downloading process will start.

Xampp (local host):

Local host is a system, by using local host you can able to browse your site only form your pc. To do this apache/ mysql / php  all of the software’s need installed on your pc. But using xampp all of those software we can use at a time.

So we choose xampp to  design website in local host. To download this software click here>> Now we have to install Xampp on our pc. 

To start Xampp:

To work in local host , it needs to start Xampp application. Lets go we starts Xampp now. Where xampp application is installed on our pc, we have to go there and find out “xampp control” folder. Click on  “xampp control” then a dialog box will come on desktop. From here we have to run apace and mysql. To start apache and mysql just click on run button from the near of apache and mysql
