As a newly launched international brand, vernee held the release conference of its new model – Mars on September 20th in Shenzhen, China. Vernee Mars, featuring the thinnest frame and all metal design, will become a strong rival of iPhone 7 and pose a challenge to Nubia Z11 and OPPO R9.
On the conference, Vernee’s CEO Jacky introduced vernee brand at length, including its background and strategy. He stated that vernee owns powerful industrial chain and that vernee is a company which integrates development, manufacturing and sales. Meanwhile Vernee is also an important partner of MTK. Adopting a similar mode of Oneplus, vernee aims mainly overseas market and focuses on Internet sales.
Vernee Mars features an ultra thin bezel which is only 1mm wide. The width of the body is close to that of many present 5 inch smartphones. And the back cover of Mars has 98% metal coverage. In addition, vernee Mars adopts an arc antenna band which is similar to that of iPhone7. Due to the 7.6mm thickness and metal grinding process it adopts, Mars delivers superb handling experience, which vernee described as “skin-like”.
What’s more, Mars is equipped with Vcharge technology. And vernee claims that it takes only 50 minutes to get Mars charged to 50% of its capacity. With 5 protections, the charging process is not fast, but also safe.
